The stats show that really the successful rebuilds did not go full tank, they just got the top pick. This idea of trading everyone is overblown by some. Flames need to dip in the standings but they will with what they have done so far. I doubt they do anything to climb back up considering the are dealing Markstrom.
Too many posters who want this full rebuild are going way over board on what needs to happen to actaully be a bottom team. SJ had the 2nd worst record in the cap era. It's rare to be that bad.
Only once in 19 years have 3 teams been below 60 points in 1 year. It was the Bedard draft too, a guy you tank for.
