Signing Lindholm to an 8 year deal is not good asset management. He met none of the above criteria and still it took him (thankfully) rejecting that deal to avoid another Huberdeau/Kadri situation.
Re-signing players can of course work out. Where all of those players were in their respective careers, combined with the lack of results and need to turn over this roster, I maintain that I’m confused why we were attempting to bring them back.
