I'm talking about Poirier. Who was playing all situations and tonnes of 5v5 on one of the best teams in the AHL Two years ago.
I find the comments on his defensive play being poor rather suspect. I watched him play. He looked fine to me. He's not Chris Tanev.
He was also the second highest scoring rookie Dman in the AHL that year outscoring far higher drafter prospects. And 3rd highest at 5v5.
My guess is he would have been even more dominant this year had he not been injured. And is still under 23.
