Spain, Croatia, and Italy were 3 of 4 semi-finalists in the Nations League and somehow all land in the same group. Seeding was so weird for this tournament.
France should be the favorites, and Spain dangerous as well (although no Gavi hurts). England also should actually have a better squad than they had in 2020 (2021) even...so will be interesting to see if they can get to the finals again.

Pretty good analysis. I largely agree. Italy show up when you least expect them.
Croatia could go any way. They could be old and tired, they could be young and rejuvenated...they've punched way above their weight class for a long time has that exhausted them or inspired them? Just a fascinating group. I love watching Croatia.
Spain is Spain but I'm thinking without their generation of 'Magic Men' they'll go back to being good but underwhelming.
And England...their biggest weakness is on their bench and named Mr. Southgate. Too timid. They've got talent but an unwillingness to use it.
What sucks is that I don't think Germany are even in the top 5 of teams competing in this tournament. Which makes me ze sad.
But yeah, this should be France's tournament.
