Yeah I thought about that too, I'm sure there's lots of places I could send a file and get it printed, but since it's me doing the design as well that would make any design iteration painfully slow, so was thinking it might be worth it getting one. Often you have to see something in real life to really decide what you want. And it'd likely be many different pieces fitting together and I'd have to learn to do that too.

Though that may just change the time sink to learning how to get a print that isn't a big tangle of filament.
