I agree with your post, but regarding the bolded part for all those that get so caught up whether the Flames say "retool" or "rebuild" versus what they actually do, here's a doozy.

Nowhere did the Rangers say rebuild nor retool. They said "reshaping". God help us, now there's a 3rd word to argue about what the Flames are doing.
