That is complete BS. He broke at least 4 major rules and the hit resulted in an injury.
Leaves his feet.
Hits vulnerable player.
Primary point of impact was the head.
Hits with the elbow.
If it was Draisaitl out, we'd never hear the end of it. This isn't the first time Draisaitl has made a hit like this either. He's a complete spot picker and loves to run guys along the boards when they aren't looking.
