I'm a bit surprised the NHL hasn't put out a basic salary cap section on their site.
Having a salary cap tool available to fans keeps the conversation going, especially in the offseason.
Hardcore fans will really dive into capspace, buyouts, etc... but even casual fans are aware of cap hits these days. Even your most bandwagony Oiler fan knows Nurse has a brutal contract.
