The difference in experience and track record though, favors Markstrom, as do the advanced stats. Plus, Vancouver was desperate to unload a goalie.

I just disagree. Younger players always hold more value. I don’t see the comparable. Fleury is closer to a Markstrom comparable. I’ll be quite happy if the 10th ends up in the Flames hands but I don’t see it.
