The first 2 seasons of the Mandalorian were also pretty damn great, and managed to capture a bit of that feeling and tone of the OG trilogy.
What I like so far about the Acolyte is that it's a new story that doesn't have anything to do with the Skywalkers. At least they're trying something a little different, which is a welcome change from the fan service garbage they tried with Ahsoka and parts of Obi-Wan.

Yeah.
Rogue and Mandalorian bottled a few moments of the OT aesthetic and spirit. It's too bad that they quickly went back on the Grogu separation which kind of demeaned how significant that moment was.
Andor and its glimpse into the empire felt like it could be an expansion of the OT universe. It was believable in that way. It was also more brutal and the beginnings of the rebellion actually felt oppressed and vulnerable (as well as dysfunctional). That all came across believable and I bought into it as a part of that universe.
They've dropped the ball on anything involving Jedi/Sith though. They're struggling to capture George's vision and are making them less interesting the more their presence is in the the shows and movies, instead of more.
I can't quite put my finger on it, but the Jedi and Sith in Episodes 1-6 had a distinct presence that is absent in anything Disney has put out.
Trinitiy's five minutes on screen were surprisingly good, as was Baylan Skoll. It's a shame both characters presences will be cut short.
