I agree with you Lindholm mid season everyone was crapping on the return but it was the draft last year that had people talking about the Columbus pick, Byram and other high end pieces.
Ultimately this board has it all. The people who think our assets are trash and others who overvalue them. I would say the majority of Conroy’s trades are initially met with groans and people saying we should have got more but usually many of those people come around and accept it was a good deal.
One year into Conroy’s run as GM I am pretty optimistic we are on the correct path and most of his moves have been very solid. I also have no idea what to expect expect over the next month? Does Conny move out more vets for picks, picks for players, both? I could totally see the Flames trading Markstrom, Mangiapane or Andersson and I could also see them trading for Zegras,or Necas or legit doing a combo of both.
