Have been purposely avoiding canadian sports media this week because I’m pretty sure sportsnet will just feature 24h of Ron Maclean and gadzic staring deeply into each other’s eyes and whispering ‘Mcdavid’ to each other.
Ended up at a pub last night for a beer and, sure enough, SN was replaying the oilers game 6 win. Then, it was feature after feature on ‘tkachuk vs Edmonton’. I figure that’s their whole broadcast schedule this week.
Excellent. Seeing as tkachuk lives rent-free in the heads of the no-goods fans, players and media, let them all focus on tkachuk, tkachuk, tkachuk. Let scumbag Kane go after him and take stupid penalties. Then barkov, verhaeghe and Reinhardt can make them pay.
