Personally, I would retain on Markstrom because I think the added value for Markstrom will be greater than the value of retention on one of Mangiapanne, Kuzmenko, and Sharangovich. Also, I suspect the Flames may try, or prefer, to extend Sharangovich.

I agree that they will likely retain on Markstrom to get value, I just can see them valuing have all 3 spots available at the deadline too.
Long season could be a painful season for the players. Could see guys asking to be moved at some point in the next year.
