Yes, that’s how I recall it regarding Bishop/King.
I think Treliving did want more autonomy but I don’t think he got carried away and publicly demanded it, as it was put. I don’t think that’s accurate or factual at all.
Regarding Edwards/Sutter, that was also my contention at the time. People, a lot of them, were saying on this forum that Edwards hired him. If that was the case, why was Treliving still the GM? If the owner lost confidence in him, he should have fired him then. On the other hand if Treliving wanted autonomy and Edwards took that decision out of Treliving’s hands, why didn’t Treliving resign then or at the end of the season? Further, why did the Flsmes want to extend Treliving at the end of last season?
I get people don’t like Treliving, that’s fine. He’s gone. But what I think is worth continuing to point out the discrepancies in the story telling people are trotting out on a daily basis here because it’s likely only a matter of time before we start seeing the same thing for Conroy.
