We don't really need to competitive in the standings, go out and play hard and let the results take care of itself. This is not a playoff team, not even close.

Utah is the team to watch. Arizona has gone full tank for years due to the situation in Arizona but they also have had some bad luck of being at the bottom and misses out on the top talent.
Since the max 4 spots rule changed the worst team only gets top pick 42% of time and it's hard to be last. Arizona is loaded with picks, but they missed out on generational talent with bad luck and now the issues should be gone to spend. Can they turn it around with what they have? IMO they could but they are missing top end talent too and the Flames could go that direction and miss out too. How aggressive we need to go to get Hagens or Mckenna is questionable. IMO we are positioned nicely, but we will see the results over the next few months and years.
Really hope Conroy has a good summer though and I think getting a Markstrom trade done is probably his best bet to tank without trading everyone.
