As a fan I really hate seeing this kind of stuff as you should never get in the space of other people like this regardless of who they are. You get the feeling from the way he kept going about his business ignoring them that it's not the first time he's had to put up with fan harassment. This is why so many Canadian players would rather play in the USA and I can't blame them as this would get really old on a weekly basis.
