I spent some time with Jarome in 2019. Tij was only 12 years old at the time. He said he was going to spend a lot of time in Kelowna because his son was playing hockey and taking it seriously. I asked if his son was good and he, in the most humble way possible, said “yes, he’s very good.” The kid is now a top 10 draft pick in the NHL. Based on that experience, if Jarome says he can play C at the NHL level, I believe he has a very good chance to do so.
