In high school, I attended a teeny school that had about 112 kids in it, from K-12, out in the middle of the back end of nowhere in an old farming community that was considered a village but barely even met that standard. Anyway, nothing big happened while I went there, but 10-12 years later, one of the teachers had an "affair" with an underage student - the teacher got pregnant from the affair, but miscarried. She was charged, it went to trial but acquitted by the trial jury. Her teaching license was revoked though. That's about the biggest thing that happened there and even then, it apparently didn't make much of an impact - people seemed to not really care.
