I'm more concerned about the damage their success is/has/will do to the NHL.
They are a team of whiners, embellishers, cheats and frauds...and they are deep in the Finals. I hated that 'style' of hockey when the Sedin era Canuks did it, and it's even worse with the Coilers having 'perfected' it.
It really shows that building a team doesn't matter, as long as you have the favor of the league who'll give you every helping hand they can, and even be pretty obvious about it.
This is damaging the sport of hockey, and should be something that the NHL stomps on, HARD, instead of promoting and nurturing like they are. It's embarrassing that our National Sport has a team that is built like and plays like the Oilers, and it's celebrated.
Having a Canadian team playing Canada's National Sport in this manner, and seeing success, is an National Embarrassment, not something to cheer about.
