I think these policies do more to serve anti-western propaganda than anything else, and sway fence-sitters to supporting terrible regimes. Sure it's on those people to not support monsters, but do we need to give people like Netanyahu and Putin more ammo?

Oh, agreed. But it's just another sign that the world has had enough of watching innocents murdered, in the same way as some countries have responded to Ukraine. A reasonable person would see things like this as a moment to pause and reflect why they would choose to do this. I expect that's not the reaction of the usual war supporters in this thread.
