Agreed and with the longer trajectory for defencemen picking up a couple in this draft would fit our timeline well. Both Anderson and a good markstrom probably kept us around ten rather than five and we certainly arent onea player away from being legit.
Bite the bullet. Multiple teams have incentive to get better sooner rather than later. Ottawa, utah, buffalo all have reason to improve. Seattle, detroit,minnesota, st louis could move something for the right deal.
Nashville has three seconds, plus 23 I believe. They could make a move. Utah has three seconds.
Retention deal could be had somewhere. Load up the magazine.
