Thinking now about how co-habitation with rival fans can work..

I feel like these are easy, common sense rules of thumb that immediately come to mind

A) Don't pretend you're not an oiler fan if you are. Childish games deserve a fitting response.

B) Be aware of where you are and be able to take a ribbing (because you're on a rivals board after all.. not being prepared for that seems illogical)

C) If you're really about the community then show up in the tough times too, not just the times when there is something to gloat about or when you don't feel as vulnerable.

D) Not telling tell Flames fans how they can post on their own board. You're essentially a guest here that Bingo has graciously opened his doors to.. so post with that in mind? Announcing formal complaints to the mods as an OOT fan is the lamest thing ever.

E) Being nice is a bonus. See Foss' posts. He's the poster child for how an OOT fan can post on the board and be embraced by the community.

If you can accomplish the above, well I cant promise i'll be nicer to the oilers, but i'll be nicer to you.
