First of all he is a winger, not a center. HIs team currently views him as a winger, most likely because he can't play down the middle and stinks at faceoffs.
The team is filled with wingers, and 40 point players which is what he is at the moment.
The team needs to bottom out the next few seasons. Necas does not fit that.
It would be stupid of the organization to trade assets for a soon to be 26 year old, who is quitting on a winning team because he wants to pad his stats.
