Is there any explanation? This is the Stanley Cup playoffs. You aren't supposed to be taking shifts off, never mind entire periods or games as the Stars and Canucks have been doing against this team.

I doubt it’s as simple as Dallas deciding to start eating copious amounts of fudge.
There are 2 teams out there. Sometimes the other team simply takes over.
While no one likes to admit it, Edmonton is a decent team capable of winning any game. And losing any game . That’s the NHL.
Momentum can change with the drop of a hat. The Oilers may appear to have it right now, but that’s likely just an illusion. There is no reason why Dallas cannot simply take over next game.
The big problem is the series has shortened to 3 games. The shorter the series, the more randomness plays a part. And I’m not that comfortable leaving the series up to randomness.
