It really depends on what contract he is willing to sign for. That fact has to function in the decision to sign or trade him.
But I seriously doubt anyone would trade a top 15 pick in the 2024 draft for him. He would need a contract extension, and if Calgary finds his demands unreasonable, I expect other teams will as well.
I expect he’ll go to the wire at the deadline or close to it before we know if he signs or go. One thing Conroy has been consistent with is he signs you or trades you.
