Bumping the thread as we had more eruptions starting Wednesday. It seems to be abating for now, but they had to (again) evacuate Grindavík and the Blue Lagoon area.

My worry now is that there will be a new normal of heightened activity in this area. Not sure what the future holds for people who used to live on the Reykjanes peninsula but can’t go back any time soon… :/
