A quick seems to say that spear hunting big game is illegal in AB. I think you're allowed to spear fish?

If you're carrying that while hiking as a walking stick, you might end up with some weird conversations with conservation officers.

No idea on the legality of carrying, but I imagine if you were allowed to, there's a size limitation on the blade and I assume wherever you're wandering around, the sharp parts must be covered?
