Too many people here are getting caught up on position. The Flames will be pretty bad for 3-5 seasons here. There will be tons of ammo to draft centers and defenseman. Just take the BPA.

You have to take the BPA at 9 and if that is Tij - so be it. I don't want the team pushing chips in to draft a C unless they are certainly being drafted where they should be on the teams list. The Flames can't be picking and choosing and hope to make it work with such a need for blue chip talent in the system. Stick to the list and move on.
If you positionally need to take 1C you can do it with the 28th pick as there is a ton of C talent stacking up in the 20-32 range as well.
