We need public financing of election campaigns. Every citizen should be allocated a bit of money that they get to choose which candidate to give that money to for their campaign.

I like this. Ties in a bit to an idea I have that it should be illegal to publish poll results - there is far too much power in the hands of media to shape the narrative and establish the main 'contenders'.
StatsCan can do a standardized poll every 6 months and publish all of the data transparently. But I also like your idea of a non-randomized system for citizens to earmark their support.
I'd also reduce the voting age to 14. Every student should have at least one election occur where they can directly participate while they are in school. I don't care that a lot of 15 year olds are idiots. So are a lot of 25 and 35 and 65 and 75 year olds.
