It's weird that here you can have a beer on your lawn, but the minute you move onto the sidewalk a metre away, it's illegal. Hell you can drink in your house all day or at a bar, and then walk down the street, but if you bring the can with you, THAT'S the point where the problem lies? Strange.
The dumbest part is that there’s already laws against public intoxication so that would take care of any issues anyways.
