The key difference here is that a large number of quality games are scheduled to come out on the PS3 including some heavy hitters like Ratchet and Clank, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, GTA and Devil May Cry. It's not like quality games aren't getting developed for the PS3, they're just not out yet.
I have a feeling there are a number of people like me out there who are intending to buy a PS3 but are simply waiting until more games are available (and quietly hoping for a price drop).
