Well, I'm going to break down and buy one of these new systems. I just can't decide. On one hand, I hear really great things about the xbox, but I have a tonne of PS games, and have never really played Xbox before.

The new NHL07 was going to be the final straw in getting one, but I never did. Anyway... what do you guys suggest? What are the pros and cons?

I know there are diehard PS fans, and diehard xbox fans, and keep in mind that I really only play hockey or sports games on these.

And has anyone ever played on a widescreen? IE: I'm getting a video in card for my PC, with inlets that allow me to play on here, but I have a widescreen. Does it get all funky? Or is it perfectly fine?

And, if I should choose the xbox, what is the deal that some are $300, some are $500... I understand one has a harddrive, but what is that all about.. do you really need it? BEcuase I honestly don't know a thing about xbox's, other than I have to pay to play online...
