People are quick to throw shade at Savard, but it's possible that Savard and Huska were butting heads and Savard didn't have sufficient control to implement his preferred offensive systems. Sometimes a good employee isn't a good fit with a specific manager or organization.
Savard coached one of the top PP units in the league when he was an assistant on the Blues, and the Windsor Spitfires overachieved with him as the head coach. I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt on this given Huska's incredibly "meh" coaching record at all levels.
