Rasmus Andersson is a homegrown top four defenceman who plays in all situations.
Near as I can tell, he’s missed four games in the last six years.
His offensive game isn’t as dynamic as everyone hoped it would be when he was drafted, but he’s solid.
They should be in no rush to move on from him unless the player has specifically demanded a trade.
He’s been a good soldier and done basically everything the team has asked with no drama.
If by this time next year, he wants an extension in the range of Hanifin, they should give it to him - you need to reward guys who’ve played well here and want to stay with the offer of long term security.
