In November, I took the kids to Florida, and crossed at Sarnia/Port Huron. We travelled in a minivan with tinted windows, with a luggage rack full of suitcases, crossing late at night, into the USA, with little question. The only things asked were; Canadian?, Where to?, and What do you do? Both sides have eased up a bit.
