I watched Confess, Fletch with Jon Hamm. It's nothing to write home about, but one thing that struck me is that we don't get movies like this any more, it actually felt like an 80s/90s lightweight action comedy: low stakes, not very deep, pretty tame. We used to get 20 of these a year.

I'm familiar with Matt Damon's chicken wing explanation about the death of mid-budget movies, and I don't know if this is exactly what he's talking about, but it's odd this type of film hasn't found it's place in the streaming world.

John Hamm was great as Fletch, he really does ooze charm in a doesn't-give-a-#### kind of way.
