They really have extra spaces, as the lineup is littered with guys that can come or go. Like it or not, Calgary is reloading, and that means if they can get a relatively cheap player who helps get Huberdeau going, they'll jump at it. Conroy has said as much.

O I'm not saying they won't, as I'm sure they will.
I'm saying i vehemently disagree with this course of action and think it's a terrible strategy.
Bringing in Duclair and pushing down pelletier/coronato to the 4th line or out of the roster is not doing us any favour's short or long term.
I guess maybe it will push huberdeau to 60 points (-30) and us from drafting 9th again to drafting 11 and losing our pick, but that's about it.
