I had the same problem when I was being stupid and rinsed my car couple weeks ago at -20 outside, I live in an apartment so it was fine when I rinsed it in the underground garage, but then I drove it to school and the lock was frozen when I was done for the day, fortunately the passenger door worked so I just unlocked it from there and drove it home, then it warmed up overnight in the parkade and it was fine again next morning.
