Even though Lindholm is out-shining him in many ways these playoffs, you'd be paying him for the elite skill alone. Not nearly consistent enough to be in the 10+ bracket.

He's a 25 year old center that averages a point per game for his career, and averaged 97 points per 82 games the last two seasons.
They overpaid by $0.5M to $1.0M to just get the deal done and not deal with the impending RFA issue, potential offer sheet, and risk of him taking his QO and going to UFA.
