Default Sharks GM Stepping Down

In true 1-upper fashion, my time in the CPHL is also over. Life/work is too busy and find myself not nearly into it as I once was. Heck, I don't even have the energy anymore to maintain a 'spirited' debate with Grant, that's saying something!

I managed 3 teams during my career spanning over 20 years starting with the Panthers, then the Jackets and now the Sharks. Fired once or twice along the way but always found my way back.

I am proud of some solid GMs I brought to this league many moons ago starting with Goffie, Cambam etc. and great to see the impact they have had over the years. Some are questionable like therizzzzz who dressed his entire AHL roster on the last game of the year one time to try and help Cheese make the playoffs (he was fired) some people still think I was secretly both GMs managing two teams at once (was not true).

One of my most favorite times as a young feller was when I brought "The Jerk" to everyone's lives, created a username and just blasted everything with truth pudding...that lasted awhile and was fun until it wasn’t, and people got too upset that they got a reality check that they were in fact horrible GMs.

Anyways, was great to meet a lot of you in person over the years, I enjoyed playing the "John Tortorella" of CPHL GM's, a super aggressive, combative keyboard warrior that helped keep things interesting for me, spiced things up and influenced a bunch of rules changes after I kept finding loopholes.

Never won a cup, made it to the finals only once. That is how hard this game can be.

Thanks to everyone for keeping this game going and a special shout out to Grant for sticking with it all these years and continuing to sim.

Go Sharks Go!
