Maybe, but lets be somewhat honest here.
The Oilers had a gaudy shot count in the third period of the last game. But in terms of quality chances, they didn't have a lot, nor did the Canucks. But the Canucks did a good job of not allowing a lot of second opportunities and boxing the Oilers out of the middle.
Meanwhile as the Canucks you know that the Oilers with their keystone cops defense, are going to give something away or worse leading to a 5 alarm chance on their shaky goalie.
I expect that the Canucks are going to have to weather the storm in the first period of tonight's game. Hopefully they pop something early past Pikard and the Oilers lack of character comes to the forefront.
