Had a vendor dinner where 4 separate people ordered the 16oz rib eye, took 3 bites and put their napkin over the rest of the plate without even starting on the sides.
Is it a culture thing? Is it just that I haven't noticed Canadians in the same situations wasting just as much food? Just overabundance in the USA leading to people thinking that it's okay?
Ugh. It grinded me so much.

Was the food good? I had a few issues eating out in the states. For one, the portions are impossible to finish, we would have enough from dinner for our lunches the next day - which is annoying because we don’t want to waste food, but want to eat last nights food. The other thing is they seem to salt the f out of it. A few places, it was as if the lid came off the chef’s salt shaker.
