Now you are correct that could change. Or not. Calgary was not home to Johnny, big difference. Marner has spent his entire life in Toronto and the surrounding area.

I see a number of quotes where he says ‘that would be the goal’ in reference to wanting to stay.
I’m not sure why Marner wouldn’t consider a move. To your point he’ll have a say.
