Sure, they might not be what people automatically associate with Utah, but it must be what they are getting at with the "Venom" concept.
Useless trivia, but the same scorpion species in Utah is also found in small pockets in BC and Alberta, which I didn't know before. Rattlesnakes are found all over the place, but they seem to be generally associated with the "Western" aesthetic, which I think applies to Utah.
