This is similar to the trade I suggested and if New Jersey is willing to make this trade, it’s a no brainer for Calgary IMO. Would be a fantastic move for the flames. Where I could see it getting a little muddier for the flames is if New Jersey requires a young player from the flames as part of the return.
For example, what if they want Pelletier or Posposil included in the above package? I’m really not sure what the answer should be then. I really want to get another pick in the top ten but would giving up Pelletier or Posposil be too much?
