I just added a PCIE M.2 drive as a secondary SSD. Unfortunately my motherboard only supports 1 m.2 drive natively, but the PCIE adapter works pretty well. Much faster than SATA SSD, but not quite as fast as the direct M.2 port. Good enough though!
