It helps the team that's more banged up and that's the Canucks, even if it's just about getting Demko back in game 6 instead of 7, or 7 instead of not at all.
Of course that would require making it to game 6 or 7 and honestly I'm not sure that's going to happen. It really depends if the Oilers face any adversity - if that pressure starts building it'll snowball and we've seen how poorly this Oilers core handles that sort of thing. If the Canucks win the first two at home that'll start creeping in. The Canucks are basically playing with house money, it's already a successful season for a group that wasn't supposed to get to the final 8 (and likely won't again for a few years, with that EP40 raise and 5M of OEL buyout on their books).
