With their first round loss to Florida last season, is this going to become a trend for them that plagues them mentally?
They aren't as dominant of a team as they would seem based on points. Pastrnak is an absolute superstar, and Marchand and Mcavoy are fantastic players but what star power do they have after that?

Sure the Bruins had 109 points but they also had 15 OT/SO losses, or what we commonly call "loser points". They only had 36 regulation wins, which was less than Tampa Bay, a Wild Card team. That ranks them 12th of the 16 playoff teams.

The team plays a strong team structure with good defense, checking and goaltending, and that will get you a long way in the NHL. But come the playoffs, it's clear that star power is what separates the great teams from the merely "good" teams. The Avs/Jets series demonstrated that very clearly.

It's gonna be a wild game 7, that's all I can say.
