I couldn't watch the game as my boy had a late lacrosse game but listening to the Kings radio feed they spent the entire 2nd intermission discussing how disappointed they were in the officiating. It certainly sounds like the game was not a good look for the NHL. That said the Kings were never going to win this series. They are basically the definition of what the Flames aspire to be. A once promising rebuild got derailed after making the playoffs unexpectedly where they accelerated things to the point they are arguably already declining. But congratulations to them for making the playoffs three seasons in a row even if it's for a quick cup of coffee. A flatlined franchise devoid of elite difference makers that's going to be spending years running the wheel of mediocrity. Congratulations to the Oilers for beating the NHL definition of first round red carpet.
