There isn't a lot separating the players in the 4-12 range from what I've read and from what I've seen.
I don't think there's really much of a potential for any pick to be viewed as a reach unless the Flames go off the board big time, and really, there's plenty of room to do that if the pick in the 25-28 range from the Canucks hasn't been moved.
To me the 9th pick this year is a safe bet to land a top 6F or top 4D talent that could turn into much more, so stick with your board and make the pick.
